about inner west funerals

arrange a funeral

Inner West Funerals is led by Kerri Mills and Olivia Andrews, two independent funeral directors based in Sydney’s Inner West.

our story

We first connected through our work with Picaluna, where we found a shared commitment to personal, transparent and meaningful funeral care.

Together, we created Inner West Funerals to offer families a more thoughtful way to plan a farewell, one shaped by story, community, care and choice.

A more personal approach.

As a female-led funeral business in the Inner West, we take time to listen before we begin making arrangements.

We want to understand who your person was, what mattered to them, and what kind of farewell would feel genuine for your family.

Whether you are planning a traditional funeral, cremation, burial, memorial, or something more informal, we guide you through each step with calm, practical support.

Our role is to take care of the details, the paperwork, logistics, coordination and planning, while helping you create a farewell that honours and celebrates a lived life, your way.

Families choose Inner West Funerals because they want to feel listened to, understood, and supported by real people who will walk alongside them.

our partnership with picaluna

Inner West Funerals works in association with Picaluna, whose purpose is to help communities honour, mourn, celebrate, heal and rejuvenate.

Through this association, we are supported with the practical and logistical aspects of funeral care, including transfers, mortuary care, registration with Births, Deaths and Marriages, supplier access and invoicing.

This allows us to spend more time with you - listening, planning and creating a farewell that feels authentic to your person and your family.

Picaluna also donates part of its profit to charity partners, reflecting a broader commitment to community care.
